Jess is one of the friendly, reassuring faces that families often meet when they join our community. She loves watching children’s faces light up with pride as they master something new, and those moments remind her exactly why she loves her work. One of the most meaningful parts of her role is supporting new families during their transition into care. While the educators focus on building strong relationships with the children, Jess is there to guide parents through the emotional early days. As a mum to teenage daughters, she draws on her own experiences to reassure families that the tough moments are temporary.
For Jess, North Edge Early Learning is a truly special place because of its culture of growth and support. Children and educators alike are encouraged to thrive, with plenty of opportunities for professional development that lead to new understandings of child development and exciting new play experiences. What keeps her inspired every day are the relationships she builds with both children and families, and seeing the positive impact the team makes. Jess is proud to share her knowledge, supported by her Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and her lived experiences as a parent, with both educators and families. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team.
